Mr. Krause founded 1220 Capital Management in 2021.

As Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer, Mr. Krause oversees all aspects of the firm’s activities, including business development and direction, development and execution of the firm’s trading and investment strategies, and the firm’s risk management controls. Prior to founding 1220 Capital, Mr. Krause worked in KPMG LLP’s asset management and family office tax practices. He also worked for Wirth Capital LLC, a Minnesota-based private equity search fund.

Mr. Krause earned a BSB in Finance & Accounting from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management, and a Master of Accounting & Data Analytics from Villanova University. He also completed the ISU International Business Program at Vienna University of Economics and Business in Vienna, Austria.
